Security Statement

Data is protected through full system bit level back up images, taken at regular intervals. Backup data is replicated across multiple physical datacentre’s, to further reduce the chances of any data being lost due to some unforseen disaster.

The servers hosting the Nucleus platform are housed within data centres, with the security standards rated for a Tier 2 Datacentre. Swipe card authentication, Man trap, onsite managers, 24 hr video surveillance.

The Nucleus application is running on virtualised servers, running in a fully redundant clusters with up to 8 separate host nodes in the cluster to fail over onto. The backend storage devises are also fully redundant. What this means is that there is no single point of failure for the platform.

All credit card transactions are collected and processed using secure encryption. The collection of the data occurs under SSL certification at 256-bit encryption, which means that the data is can only be read by the authorised server – even if the encrypted data is intercepted, it is unreadable. Credit Card details are not stored on the Nucleus Logic network they are securely transmitted, again under SSL encryption, to be stored and processed on a PCI Compliant network.
